Four people including a juvenile have been discharged of murder charges after the state lawyer advised the Lautoka High Court that they will be withdrawing all the charges.
Mohammed Khan, Shailendra Prasad, Muni Nair and a juvenile were charged with a count each of murder after they were alleged to have murdered their 40 year old neighbour in Transmitter Road Malolo last December.
Their lawyer, Iqbal Khan had initially raised in court that the information provided does not support the charge of murder and as a result of pulling and pushing, the victim landed on the land peg and died.
