The 39-year-old man who was earlier reported missing in Labasa is believed to have drowned after his body was recovered from the Qawa River yesterday.
Police say the man was reported missing at the Labasa Police Station on Monday afternoon.
They say a post mortem examination will be conducted to confirm the victim’s cause of death as investigations continue.
