A 37-year-old man guilty of raping and sexually assaulting his 11 year old stepdaughter has been given a 18 year jail term by Justice Daniel Goundar.
The man had already spent 7 months in custody on remand and the remaining term for him to serve is 17 years and 5 months imprisonment with a non-parole period of 14 years.
The incidents happened between 2017 to 2020 in Suva.
