27-year-old Inoke Qalo Loloma, who allegedly murdered a 43-year-old man along Vugalei Cemetery in Lami on the morning of Christmas Eve, has been remanded.
Police say Loloma appeared for a special court sitting in the Suva Magistrates Court on Monday and was remanded at the Suva Remand Centre for 14 days.
He will reappear at the Suva High Court for his bail hearing.
Loloma is charged with one count of murder.
Police say the 43-year-old man was found lying motionless on the road.
