A 27-year-old man from Moto, Ba, will appear in the Nadi Magistrates Court today for allegedly obtaining $1,400 by deception.
Police say the investigations revealed that from July last year to September this year, the accused allegedly used several facebook accounts to post fake items for sale.
They say he reportedly received the sum through bank deposits and mobile money transfers registered under his name.
The man is charged with six counts of obtaining financial advantage by deception and one count of possessing property suspected to be proceeds of crime.
