A 16-year-old student is lucky to have escaped serious injuries following a road accident along Queen Elizabeth Drive yesterday afternoon.
Police say it is alleged that he was driving at a high speed and hit a traffic island, causing his vehicle to tumble and land upside down.
They say the boy has a learner's permit license and was travelling alone.
Police say investigations continue.
