16 Men’s and 8 Women’s teams will clash for the Eastern State 9s Cup at Bidesi grounds tomorrow.
Tournament Director Akuila Masi says they are excited to host their first Nine’s tournament since the revival of the State Leagues and players can’t wait for their first match.
Masi says it is a family affair with 32 matches with some seasoned talents out to impress coaches and push their team to the Fiji Nines Finals.
The Eastern Nines is a qualifying event for the Fiji 9s finals that will be held on 16th April at Churchill Park.
Matches will kick-off at 9.30am tomorrow with tickets at $5 flat and while entry for kids under 12 are free.
