A grant of $10,000 and a GeneXpert machine used for the detection of the COVID-19 virus has been donated to the Health Ministry by Oceania Hospitals.
The Executive Director of Oceania Hospitals Pramesh Sharma handed over the donation to Health Minister, Doctor Ifereimi Waqainabete today.
Sharma handed over the donation on behalf of the Board, Management and staff of Oceania Hospitals.
The Health Ministry says the $10,000 will supplement the expenses towards COVID-19 containment.
