A severe thunderstorm warning for heavy rainfall remains in force for Northern and Western parts of Viti Levu from Rakiraki, Ba, Lautoka to Sigatoka and the rest of Viti Levu, Cakaudrove and Macuata Province.
The Nadi Weather is advising people to keep clear of flooded creeks and drains, don’t walk, ride bikes or drive through flooded water, unplug computers and appliances, stay indoors but away from windows and keep children and pets indoors as well.
They are urging people to stay vigilant and monitor conditions.
A trough of low pressure associated with clouds and rain remains slow-moving over the Southern and Eastern parts of the group.
