Playing together as a team is how Swire Shipping Fijian Drua half-back Frank Lomani see as the reason they managed to defeat the defending Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific champion, the Crusaders, at home for the second time.

The Fijian Drua showed some great rugby and physicality as they defended their turf in Lautoka.

Lomani says winning for the first time is massive for them, but defending their territory is more challenging than winning it for the first time.

He says playing as a team is how they manage to come out victorious, and their main priorities next will be physicality and keeping the ball.

Meanwhile, lock Te Ahiwaru Cirikidaveta is honoured and happy to get the job done against the Crusaders and says there are a lot of things that they can work on and get better for their next game.

The Fijian Drua defended their home turf against the defending champions, the Crusaders, 20-10 in Lautoka.

Selestino Ravutaumada and Frank Lomani scored a try each, while Isaiah Armstrong-Ravula converted two penalties.

In other Super Rugby Pacific results, the Hurricanes defeated the Blues 29-21, the Reds beat the Chiefs 25-19, and the Brumbies edged the Force 22-19.
