The People’s Alliance has confirmed that it has received allegations circulating on social media regarding one of it's provisional candidates, Sajal Narayan for previous charges in the USA.
The party says it is following up with Narayan and the relevant authorities and will make a decision based on these findings.
The People's Alliance says it is fully confident and supports its list of provisional candidates for the 2022 General elections.
It says the confirmed party candidate list will be sent through to the Registrar of Political Parties in accordance to Fiji Elections Office requirements in due course.
