The Outgoing CEO of the Fiji Roads Authority, Jonathan Moore says the next FRA CEO should bring the right level of competence to carry the work forward.

Moore who will finish his three-year term at the end of September this year says it is predominantly an engineering role because all the problems they have on the highway network in Fiji are engineering related.

Moore says the role demands a highly skilled person but it does not mean the next FRA CEO has to be a foreigner.

Moore joined the FRA in October 2017 and has made contributions in developing the forward strategy of the authority, implementing processes and procedures and providing a clear direction towards improving Fiji’s road infrastructure.

FRA’s General Manager for the Western Division, Kamal Prasad will act as the CEO on an interim basis and the Board of Directors of the FRA will be conducting a comprehensive search process to identify the next successful candidate.
