Good news as the opening of the Levuka Market brings promising opportunities for the farmers of Levuka and Moturiki, offering a more stable and efficient platform for them to sell their products.
While speaking at the opening, Minister for Housing and Local Government Maciu Nalumisa highlighted the importance of market vendors taking ownership of the new facility, emphasising that it is one of the best markets in Fiji.
Nalumisa further says the government is committed to making Levuka a hub of prosperity, heritage and opportunity for future generations.
He also highlighted their efforts to empower communities, support entrepreneurs, celebrate progress, and invest in the nation’s future.
