Jona Nareki and Sevu Reece have been named in the stuff.co.nz Super Rugby Aotearoa team of the week.
Reece started the year in excellent form, chasing down Hurricanes half-back Jackson Garden-Bachop to prevent a try while also showing a good kicking game.
Nareki was impressive last week against the Chiefs where he scored a hat-trick in impressive style. He also showed his strength when he assisted in Shanon Frizell's try.
Other players included Joe Moody (Crusaders), Codie Taylor (Crusaders), Siate Tokolahi (Highlanders), Tupou Vaa’i (Chiefs), Sam Whitelock (Crusaders), Shannon Frizell (Highlanders), Tom Christie (Crusaders), Cullen Grace (Crusaders), Mitchell Drummond (Crusaders), Richie Mo’unga (Crusaders), Dallas McLeod (Crusaders), Jack Goodhue (Crusaders), and Mitch Hunt (Highlanders).
In this week's matches, the Crusaders will take on the Chiefs at 6.05pm Saturday and the Blues will face the Highlanders at 2.35pm Sunday.
