The Land Transport Authority of Fiji says all customers will be required to wear a mask before they can enter, have the careFIJI app installed and activated on their phones and to observe social distancing, maintaining at least a 2 metre distance from everyone else.
CEO Samuel Simpson says hand sanitiser will also be provided at the door.
Simpson says they are taking all safety measures to keep both employees and customers safe from COVID-19.
He further says while at work all employees are wearing the necessary protective equipment, such as masks and gloves and extra precautionary measures are being taken with customers.
Simpson adds they are reminding customers that these measures are being taken for their safety, so they ask that they please comply.
He says customers could make use of LTA’s E-services platform, as a safer alternative to coming to the office in person.
