Acting Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu says he is still concerned about the growing number of complaints against officers and is reiterating the importance of serving with humility.

A series of workshops will be conducted by the Fiji Police Force during the first three months of this year, with improving service delivery a top priority.

Tudravu says all complaints against officers will be taken seriously and dealt with according to the internal disciplinary processes.

He says he wants every member of the Fiji Police Force to understand that this has to be implemented in all aspects of policing whether it is traffic checks, serving at counters in charge rooms, attending to reports, or support service from the offices.

The Acting Commissioner has stressed that officers should be committed to the principle that everyone has the right to be treated with respect regardless of their gender, race, religion or ethnicity.
