Coca-Cola Games intermediate boys 100 metres champion Nathaniel Chand has dedicated his gold medal win to his coach Jone Delai because he fell short in last year’s Games.

He says training was very hard and he had trusted God to help him keep moving forward.

Chand also acknowledged the tremendous support from his family and friends that enabled him to win gold at this year’s Games.

Meanwhile, intermediate girls champion Claudie David of Grammar acknowledged God for providing her the strength to participate in this year’s Fiji Finals.

The Coca-Cola Games will resume at 8.30am today.
