Highlanders captain and veteran All Blacks halfback Aaron Smith and No 8 Marino Mikaele-Tu’u have joined the team in Suva for the clash against the Swire Shiiping Fijian Drua on Saturday.
Both missed Sunday’s loss to the Brumbies in Melbourne.
The Otago Daily Times reports Smith was recovering from Covid-19 and Mikaele-Tu’uwas was given a week off to get fully fit after tweaking a hamstring against the Hurricanes.
The Fijian Drua take on the Highlanders at 4.35pm this Saturday at the ANZ Stadium.
