A 13-year-old girl has died after she allegedly drowned whilst swimming in the Koronubu River in Ba yesterday afternoon.
Police say the girl from Vutuni in Ba had gone swimming with her cousins and friends when the unfortunate incident occurred.
She was rushed to the Ba Aspen Hospital, where she was pronounced dead on arrival.
Police investigations continue.
